Discover Our Expertise
TMC DEMO is the demolition and decommissioning division of Tower Maintenance Corporation, a company with over 20 years of experience in the communication tower industry. We exist for one reason: to take towers down safely and efficiently.
As the tower industry evolves and legacy infrastructure reaches the end of life, tower owners need a contractor they can trust to manage the entire demolition process — from first permit to ground re-levelling. That’s what we do, site after site, state after state.
We operate full-time crews across the country and maintain a zero-incident safety record. Whether you’re decommissioning a single tower or managing a portfolio of hundreds, TMC DEMO delivers on time, on budget, and fully insured.

What We TAKE DOWN?
Any Tower. Any Height. Any Location.
Our crews have hands-on experience demolishing every major tower type used in the broadcast and telecommunications industry. We work with towers of all heights, including structures well over 1,000 feet. Through our national crane partners, we deploy exactly the right heavy-lift capacity for each site — no unnecessary standby costs, no compromises on safety.
Guyed Towers
Including tall broadcast structures exceeding 1,000 feet, dismantled using gin pole rigging and sequenced section removal
Self-Supporting (Lattice) Towers
Freestanding structures taken down section by section with crane-assisted lowering where required.
Monopoles
Single-tube structures dismantled and removed with precision rigging and heavy-lift equipment
One Process
Every Time
Turnkey Demolition.
One Contractor, Zero Gaps
Every TMC DEMO project follows a proven, repeatable process. We handle every stage in-house so there are no handoffs, and no surprises.
Pre-Demolition Planning
We start before a single bolt is turned. Our team develops PE-sealed rigging plans, acquires all construction and city permits, coordinates 811 utility locates to protect underground infrastructure, and completes environmental screening. By the time we arrive on site, every detail has been accounted for.
Site Safety Setup
Before demolition begins, we install a 360-degree safety perimeter with protective barriers, verify RF lock-out with all carriers, and conduct a daily Job Hazard Analysis for every crew member on site.
Tower Preparation and Dismantling
For shorter towers, we use a crane to take down the entire structure — antennas, equipment, and all. For taller towers, we bring in a gin pole system, carefully removing equipment and antennas first before methodically dismantling the tower section by section.
Scrap Management
Structural steel is segregated on site cut to transportable sizes, and removed for recycling or disposal. Nothing is left behind.
Site Restoration
Once the tower is gone, we backfill, compact, and re-grade the site to its natural contours, then apply seed and straw. The goal is simple: leave the property as though the tower was never there.
Close-Out Documentation
Every project is completed with a full close-out package including photographic records, permit close-outs and disposal manifests. Your files are complete before we leave.
